The Human Side of Workforce Change: Leading Layoffs with Clarity, Care, and Credibility is an HR-focused chapter meeting centered on how organizations communicate and manage workforce reductions. The program features a panel of HR practitioners who have led workforce reductions, experienced them firsthand, and worked with organizations through employee transitions. Attendees will explore the human impact of workforce change, the role of outplacement and transition support, and how those decisions can affect risk, organizational reputation, and affected employees. The meeting also includes networking, lunch, announcements, a panel discussion, and a basket raffle supporting the SHRM Foundation. This program has been approved for one SHRM recertification PDC and one HRCI credit.
